Trump has said that he would stop negotiating all trade deals with Canada if it imposed its 3% tax on US, Canadian and other tech companies. This is like sales tax!
Once again the US bullies its so-called allies. If possible, don’t use US tech if they aren’t going to pay local taxes.
Do you really need WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc? Particularly, if you are going to have your account scrutinised by US Customs if you travel to the US?
